St. Louis Park Restoration Pros is a property damage restoration provider serving St. Louis Park, Minnesota and the surrounding west metro. We work on water, fire, smoke, mold, storm and sewage losses in homes and commercial buildings.
How we work
Restoration is a trade where the most important work is invisible. Anyone can pull out wet carpet. The difference between a job that holds and one that returns as a mold problem in six weeks is whether the structure behind the finish was actually dried, and whether anyone measured it.
So we measure. Every drying job starts with a dry standard taken from unaffected material, gets daily readings at marked locations, and ends when those readings reach target — not when a scheduled number of days has passed. Every job produces a written record of what we found, what we removed, why, and what the readings showed.
Why that record matters to you
Two reasons. It is what an insurance claim actually runs on — photographs, a defensible scope, and evidence the structure was dried. And it is yours: if a question comes up later, at a sale or an inspection, you have documentation rather than a memory.
Built around this housing stock
St. Louis Park is an inner-ring suburb and it behaves like one. Most of what we work on predates 1965 — Cape Cods, ramblers and story-and-a-halfs with full basements, plaster over lath, original cove joints, and sewer laterals of clay or cast iron running under one of the most mature tree canopies in the west metro.
That produces a specific set of problems: root intrusion into old laterals, seepage at the cove joint, basements finished decades later without vapour barriers, ice dams on shallow story-and-a-half eaves, and supply lines splitting in rim joists where the insulation settled forty years ago. We build our approach around what this city actually produces rather than a generic playbook.
What we will not do
We will not tell you a space is dry because the surface feels dry. We will not paint or seal over microbial growth instead of removing it. We will not close a wall cavity that is still wet because it saves a day. And we will not tell you what your insurer will cover — that is between you, your policy and your adjuster, and anyone who promises otherwise is guessing.
Service area
St. Louis Park and surrounding west-metro communities including Golden Valley, Hopkins, Edina, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Crystal and the western neighbourhoods of Minneapolis. We serve the area rather than operating a walk-in location.
